What an awesome game!

Very very awesome game. And your first one? Wow. Very simple and yet awesome and playable forever. The only thing I didn't like was the music, but we all have different tastes. Kudos to you, I hope to see more great games from you.

Another tetris game.

I somewhat disliked this version of tetris. There were few interesting things you look like you did to it, but it was lacking of most of the nescescary features to make a good tetris game.

pros:
- you had some little bars down at the bottom. They were interesting, but i'm not quite sure what they did, I'n guessing that they were for the types of blocks landed.
- there were no majour bugs or glitches in the engine.

cons:
-no music at all
-no level system
-It looks like you may have taken the engine from actionscript.org, but since you knew the variables to code those bars, then
it's unlikely, but still possible.
- the controls were very uncomfortable, the turning should have been done by the arrows, it makes it alot less stressful that way.
-graphics were lacking, Nothing was appealing and the menu lacked any style.

Don't feel too bad, though. It would be awesome if you Made another tetris game with most of those cons taken away, It would be a great version of tetris and i would enjoy playing it. Good luck in general.

Great game!

Very awesome game. I enjoyed the different choice of backgrounds, music, and scenery pieces. you really could make some good customized levels. One majour problem that i had is at first i didn't know how to jump, then i looked at the description and kicked myself for not figuring it out earlier. great game though, I enjoyed making/playing my level.

nice job.

Nice job on the tutorial, I liked how you explained everything instead of just giving the code, I understood almost everything and enjoyed reading the tutorial good work, I hope for more quality tutorials from you in the future!
just one thing though, i wasn't quite sure whether or not to put the MC on the stage or not, or where to put the script, so I'll pm you.

PARAGON-pvp responds:

You don't put the MC on the stage, and where you put the script, is easy, the whole movie is a blank keyframe, and put the script in that blank keyframe. hope this helps, any other questions, PM me.

Good game.

I liked the snake engine. Where the tail grows quite a bit each time, and the scoring was cool too. almost identical to the cell-phone versions. what can i say, i enjoyed it, and the pac-man theme was cool to. The only thing to be improved i think would be the sound.
p.s: got 270 :D

Sharkius-Cubed responds:

Ok, thanks for the advice.

good work, but a few flaws.

Nice game. It was very fun, and i really enjoyed how you made the levels based on places in an adventure. If you made a few changes, like prevented cheating by right clicking, and maybe added more levels this would have been a flawless game, and could have even made front page.

Gfx: They were more than anyone could expect from a mouse avoider game. It's one of the staples of the game, with crazy invironments and somewhat detailed items. If you made a sequel, you should work on the graphics more, maybe add more detail to things like the fire.

Sound: It was ok, but it got annoying after a little while. Maybe use the "portal load" thing (ID 318444) to get a good track or two to use in the game.

Interactivity: The interactivity itself wasn't amazing. It was just a mouse like any other mouse avoider game. But the reason i gave an 8 is because it's so in tune with the environment and the "storyline" of the game.

I'm looking forward to the sequel. All you need is to add at least 20 levels into it, be a little better with the graphics, choose good music and it's a frontpage game. If you're having troubles or need an extra level just pm me :D

the minigames were cool.

Don't get me wrong, the minigames were absolutely awesome, fun, and i liked the before-hand info menu. The only things that i didn't like, which detracted from the fun ALOT, was that you only had two chances before you died, and if you did you had to close and open the flash, sitting through the intro again. Just have a play again button which sets the coins back to 5 and goes to a random level. It's very fun, but aggravating to deal with.

awesome!

that was great! there were so many great origional things about it! it would be tiresome to list them all. Instead, the only thing that i didn't like was that a few of the negative power ups didn't wear off until the ball was lost. it was annoying, but it makes sense to add it for a challenge. great work, i hope to see more innovative games from you!

well,

it was ok, but like a few other people have said it had lots of problems that made it hard to play and not as fun. Like if you pressed space instead of up you couldent double jump, the same key would be nice. And if you are falling too fast you can go through the platforms, making it very annoting. Good concept, though, with the flying and all.

good for noobs, but i din't need it.

good job, i guess, it's just that you made it a little too obvious which one is the most proper way to say it. i woulden't have said "okay, but" i would have said "awesome work!" then given my honest opinion which is that it rocked, then maybe give a slight suggestion. oh well, it's a good movement towards better reviews.

PARAGON-pvp responds:

Well thanks for the review, i was using the "okay, but" for a example on what to say for a sub-average flash submission, because it's easier to write a review on a good flash because all you're doing is saying AWESOME JOB! and stuff like that,, thanks again for the review
